Nicholas Maduro has been captured: Trump

I seriously doubt that.
I don’t doubt it. It’s hard to **** up Venezuela more than Maduro has. Besides, we will be removing sanctions in all likelihood so that alone will help standards of living.

It doesn’t matter to you because you’re not thinking rationally.
It doesnt matter because he was a non-violent drug offender pardoned no differently than anyone pardoned by Obama and Biden.

There are also ulterior upsides to his release that were more valuable than keeping him incarcerated.

You don’t believe in second chances like Obama?

Note to mods. The text below came to me by way of an email from the source, the legal scholar Joyce Vance.

But the subtleties of international law seem to be lost in the midst of warmongering and the administration’s desire to take down an alleged narco terrorist.
Your "legal scholar" is a moron. There is nothing "alleged" about Maduro's crimes.
The situation is further complicated because this Justice Department is no longer operating in a way where we can assume its prosecutions are solid. The evidence will be carefully scrutinized because we are now firmly in an era where the Justice Department has permitted itself to become a political tool the president can use at will. Trump certainly welcomes the distraction from the botched Epstein Files release, and there are suggestions that this is ultimately about Venezuela’s oil. Venezuela has the world’s largest oil reserves.
Maduro will be arraigned on Monday in NYC, we'll see if the charges are "solid".
That the moron even mentions "Epstein" shows how political he is.

There are also questions about the legitimacy of Trump’s claims he’s focused on a war against narco-terrorism in light of his December pardon of former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández. Hernández was convicted by a jury and sentenced in 2024 to 45 years in prison for using his position to help drug traffickers import more than 400 tons of cocaine into the U.S., accepting bribes that advanced his political career, and providing protection from prosecution to violent drug cartel leaders. There will be a lot of questions.
Drug cartels killed over 400,000 Americans during Biden's term. Trump's war on narco-terrorism will save over 200,000 US lives compared to Biden, yet the political hack points to a meaningless pardon. Is Hernandez a cartel drug lord? Hint: no

Maduro is fugged beyond belief

That’s an absurd statement.

Bingo. It was all ulterior motives.
You don’t believe in second chances like Obama?
I believe in rational thought.

None of this has anything to do with justice. You’re just repeating the party line.

They're clearly not paying attention to current events. Bibi picked the Venezuelans next leader

Pretty much. The new "president" must be in the big club... And any world leader who is not in the big club and doesn't play along with the Empire is forcibly removed. Hooray NWO!!!

Trump is now on Truth Social saying Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro has been captured and flown out of the country, along with his wife. This is a major development and frees up Venezuela to have a free and fair democratic election.

Most Venezuelans living abroad are happy about the arrest of Maduro. But we can’t know what the people of that land actually feel due to the repressive regime there.

One thing we do know: Maduro has been under a U.S. indictment since March of 2020. https://www.justice.gov/opa/page/file/1261806/dl?inline=

The above text copy is the superseding indictment.

Interesting to see that he has been under indictment for almost 6 years for international drug trafficking (which relates to why President Trump started blowing up their drug running speed boats).

Also, Maduro’s arrest is NOT an arrest of a foreign nation’s leader. Maduro seized power but his leadership was deemed illegal by the Venezuelan National Assembly and isn’t recognized, either, by at least 50 other nations.

I don't know. But at least Bush notified Congress. Trump just runs roughshod over Congress.
Congress is worthless. The rotten bastards spend all their time investigating the opposition.

The only diference between Trump & Maduro is, Trump had his MAGA lackeys on SCOTUS to give him immunity against the crimes he committed in his first term & now in his second go round.

Now cry those MAGA tears.

This is clinically insane territory

Right. I’m sure you would be praising Biden for any action done against Venezuela.

Does this count:

2024 Maduro opposition won the election by a landslide, yet Biden got in bed with Brazil and Columbia and called for another election.

What now? Venezuela had an election. Does the winner get the position?
