Nothing a concerted air campaign wouldn't cure.

There is a reason we positioned military assets all over the Caribbean before performing the operation.

And knocked out the Vz air defenses (even though they didn't work anyway).

Any situation like this has inertia. Maduro has allies and supporters, especially in the police and military. They're going to stop getting paid, so we'll see how that rolls.

Plus during their combined tenures Chavez and Maduro restructured both the legislature and the Supreme Court. Regime change usually has to be pretty pervasive to get the job done. It isn't as simple as changing the locks.

I for one was perturbed by all this. President Trump promised me he would deport illegals, not fly them in on government airplanes.

Maybe ICE will deport Maduro back to Venezuela.
