Well it is the legitimate government is it not?

Besides, when it comes to the Middle East, Sunni/Shia tensions and Qatar, one wouldn't want to take the Sunni Qatar state owned Al Jazeera too seriously.

Since the majority of the Syrian army and police, etc is Sunni, this isn´t a sectarian war for the government but a war on terror.

Doesn't bother you when it is the UN showing favouritism against the Jews does it. With 100% of the aid budget for refugees being given to islamonazi terrorists.

Yes. It's the inconvenient bit about the administration being Shia that brings the Sunni support for the 'rebels'.

The government is SECULAR and consists of Sunnis as well as other branches.

Examples:
Prime Minister: Wael Nader Al-Halqi, Sunni Islam
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense: Fahd Jassem al-Freij, Sunni Islam
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister: Walid Mohi Edine al Muallem, Sunni Islam
Deputy Prime Minister for Service Affairs: Omar Ibrahim Ghalawanji, Sunni Islam
Electricity Minister: Imad Mohammad Deeb Khamis, Alawi Shia Islam
