Before I was born in 1982, my mom lived in the New Haven Connecticut area for like a year and a half. The only reason why she never stayed is because of how unfriendly most everyone there was.

Having lived in both places, I would say that NYC and LA are both rude in their own way.....people in NYC are rude because it's so crowded and to get anywhere you have to push....in LA, people are a different kind of rude.....they believe they are the only ones that count.
