Kathy Hochul (D) said during an appearance on The David Pakman Show, making it clear that state police will not cooperate. “We’re not going to allow this mass deportation,” Hochul said, explaining that they will cooperate only when there is a warrant or someone is on the terrorism watch list.

Hochul’s resistance to “mass deportation” comes as Trump’s border czar traveled to the sanctuary city of Boston, Massachusetts, as promised, overseeing the ICE arrests of 370 illegal immigrants — the majority of whom are “significant” criminals, including child sexual predators.

“ICE had to find and arrest these illegal alien rapists because Massachusetts and Boston are sanctuaries that refuse to cooperate with ICE. They would rather release these animals back into the community rather than honor ICE detainers or notify ICE when they are scheduled to be released,” Homan said in a statement on Monday.

I think the difference is that agricultural guest workers (and I do agree with maga that just "being here" is not enough) convey a societal good: fresh fruit/veggies.

Conversely, are tv and print adds the best we can do to educate consumers of medical services. Sadly, imo, the medical associations that have brought us the opioid epidemics, have pretty much ceded the issue to "free enterprise."

You can do that? Just refuse to cooperate with the law? Enforcing borders and immigration is a /federal/ matter. The states have no say in it. Anyone or any agency obstructing the government from performing its function is committing felony obstruction of justice and they all need to be so charged.
