If you try to use a government solution and raise the minimum wage, employers just get around it or raise prices, and the minimum wage increase has done nothing but decrease the value of the money, so it's just like a minimum wage increase never happened and MORE people are chasing even fewer jobs.

A better job market cures all these problems.
