A recent Denver Post report on the state of affairs in Colorado affirmed what Democrats have seen nationally—that their brand is struggling. Another recent Quinnipiac University poll affirmed the same; the Democrat Party is deeply unpopular nationwide, and traditionally blue Colorado isn’t immune from the same trend.

“The strength of Republicans’ identification with working-class issues is a warning shot for a party that’s lost ground across the country,” reported the left-leaning Denver Post in a September 16 feature. Reliably blue Colorado has seen a dramatic political shift rejecting Democrat policies, suggesting the longtime blue state may be in play for Republicans for the first time in nearly two decades. The poll was conducted by Keating Research and looked at the state’s top Democrats running for Governor. The upshot was that state voters have grown weary of Democrat policies and the people associated with them.

Moreover, a recent Denver Post headline was a red flag to the state’s Democrats, “Colorado voters are dissatisfied with Democrats. Governor Jared Polis, Senators John Hickenlooper, and Michael Bennet can’t hide.” The takeaway of the editorial was that Polis, whose term expires next year, and both Bennet and Hickenlooper are significantly underwater in approval numbers.

The poll was conducted by Magellan Strategies and included responses from 1,136 registered Colorado voters with the results mirroring what Democrats have seen nationwide—that Americans are unhappy with Democrat policies in urban centers across the country including Denver.

Is Hell about to freeze over?

Local right-leaners in CO doubt it....They say there are two parties in CO.....The "usual suspect" dems and inept do-nothing RINOs with little in-between.

Sigh, hope springs eternal.

I have never been a believer in polls and the last ten or so years have made me even less so.
I find most democrat politicians to be mentally ill but I do not find a lot of republican politicians to be much better.

Colorado is only blue in Denver and Boulder. Most of Colorado is red AF. I lived there for work for 4 years.

I SAW A RANCHER AT A KING SOOPERS IN CASTLE ROCK WITH A GUN BELT AND REVOLVERS ON EITHER HIP. IT WAS BAD AF.

Blue faggots would have started crying and had to go to therapy.

Colorado is much like Virginia. A once decent and proud State that voted for candidates that were best for the State and the Country. Now, they are Dim and vote for sick assholes like this guy. If Virginia actually elects Jay Jones, the State is dead and completely beyond hope. Colorado, I fear, has already passed the point of no return.

You know I expected some "panic" gun buying like before Youngkin was elected but the general mood if the vile dem Spanberger is elected is, go ahead vile dems and make your laws but we won't be following them.

Lefties in Colorado are racist.

They refused to vote for a black man, Daryl Glenn for Senate just because he is black.

So disgusting to see racism of the left on full display.

They are NAZIS.

Democrats keep losing more voters.

When I still lived in Virginia the City of Richmond passed an ordinance that you must register your guns. I worked in Chippenham Hospital ER and was friends with many of the cops that worked there. Great guys for the most part.

They said **** the ordinance. Do not ever register your guns. If you ever sell any of your guns or they are stolen, the Law will come looking for you first if they are used in the commission of a crime.

Needless to say, I never registered my guns and I never will. The Government can go F**K themselves. :D

New Jersey is now in play too.
The Jersey constituency is HEAVILY influenced by NYC. I believe the last time Jersey went Red was in the Reagan years. In my opinion "IF" Jersey goes Red it will be by the slimmest of margins, like "tilt Red" @ best. Remember, the N/E states are the "Old Money" states & the old money does NOT LIKE CHANGE.

My half brother lived in Colorado Springs. To prove he wasn't racist he voted for a black African immigrant for mayor. Within months the city was in crisis. My Bro picked up and moved to Texas.

Sounds about right! Colorado is beautiful geographically speaking. Bananas politically.

i wonder if some form of domestic guerilla warfare will happen at some point. Not in the cities. Out in the rural areas. Setting up explosives on the road and all of that. The cities will be screwed up with their own terrorists they enabled.

The Democrats have become a bastion for Marxists with no room for dissenters. You need to vote in lockstep with the party to stay in good standing with the party that is only worried about accumulating more and more power. The Democrat party has been heading in this direction for a while but since Obama, they are becoming more, in your face, with their Marxism. People don't want to be dominated. No Democrats = no kings.
