Once they were legally allowed, I remember you had a problem with them adopting kids. Some of you still do but a lot of you suddenly say you don't mind gays adopting children. But I get what you are saying. In every fire department I've ever seen, it's a tight nit group of guys. Were they forced at one time to hire a woman? Probably so. And did DEI make them give her a job of authority? Probably. The Chief doesn't have to pull people out of buildings. They do paperwork.

So I don't like DEI in fire departments. I want a close nit group of guys who are fit and can pull me up or down some stairs. Big ole boys.

Now what about police? I do want diversity in the police department. Should I not? Like I want a black and white cop riding together in Detroit.
