Welsh bishop attacked over 'never trust a Tory' tweet

She was targeted for stating her political views on Twitter and has since removed her account

The Bishop of St Davids has upset the tory establishment with her tweet. Of course, she was forced to retract her statement but the essential truth of it remains.
The church is becoming irrelevant in the modern world because of its essential conservatism. A more radical and honest theology may help return the faithful to the pews.
Not much chance of that when Bishops live in Palaces whilst their parishioners go hungry. Isnt that why we fucked off the Catholic Church in the first place ?
