A Post-apocalyptic society where everyone is the same. No races, no religions, no wars....no love, no celebrations, no families. Everyone's memory of the past has been erased, each morning citizens receive injections that dull their emotions and senses. Governed and ruled by "the elders" ..they rule everything. Your jobs are chosen, where you live, who you are "paired" with....of course it all comes crashing down when two people discover what the injections actually do and a man who remembers...the giver.
