I'm sure many folks are like myself, they look at Netflix programming, and say WTF?
This is a very long but VERY interesting look at Netflix and how it works (or doesn’t). It’s a really good read and worth your time if you’re at all interested in the entertainment industry.

Sigh, I tried to read that whole article myself but found that it was less interesting than their programming.
Bottom line:
What matters to Netflix is only that it’s on, if only as background noise, and that it stays on until Netflix asks its perennial question, a prompt that appears when the platform thinks a user has fallen asleep: “Are you still watching?”
