Vote counts probably took a long time before the 1960's elections. Mostly there was radio and newspapers. Letter Openers were everywhere! Even popular Canadian Media Theorist, Marshall McLuhan, would call radio and newspapers, "Hot," and ""Linear" and "Segmented" sensory engaging media. Television would go on to be regarded more participatory and inclusive of sensory engagement, a "Cool" mass medium, oddly: Just like Money. So compare and contrast what is in the link below with any other network, Not NBC.
NBC created, simply, a usable and participatory context. The stupid little blue and red bubbles invite a click presentation of the context in which the "Cool" medium "Numbers" are splattered all around. How many votes are left to count. Other networks present that--but in a far less meaningful context. They tend to be shown County by County--but isolated from other counties. They are separated out, apart from everything else, and in no sensible format. NBC includes them all.
Fitting in all the counties, the mainstream polls have not been all that wrong after all. The vote count now is "Mail-in," not Communist, (Red), or Pornographic, (Blue)(?)! There is a lot of it. The Trend is Democratic Leaning heavily--even in red counties.
No matter the lean of the County: All the outstanding votes lean heavily Democratic. The Biden Campaign is comfortable with what it sees: And that now makes sense. It mainly needs to learn more about the concept, "Se Habla Espanol!" Even "Cuba Si! Yanqui No!" seems to have a current context in the more participatory USA, subsequent Bay of Pigs. That famous battle cry was Cuban, on that Island. One or more of my high school best friends were Cuban refugees. English was not a second language. Even atomic nuclear physics was not regarded a Martian Language science. The Fascist problem does appear to persist.
"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!
(Of historical memory, only recently does Matt 25: 14-30, appear to be: Only just possibly thought a current context!)
