Comeback is carrying things too far. Brandenburg is a strange place where the SPD doesn´t get many votes unless it is state elections. They won the Brandenburg state elections for decades now. But for example in the Euro elections 2024, 350.000 Brandenburgers voted for the AfD and only 220.000 for the SPD.

Yes, they scored many seats but would have had to align with another party. THey all refused because the others are on the same wavelength. This result is nothing what someone could call "victory". The so called Kenia-coalition (Social Democrats, Greens and Christian Conservatives) made a damn good politics in Brandenburg. Nevertheless wan extremists - on the left side the "alliance Wagenknecht" and on the right side the "AfD". Both are "pro Putin" - I guess this little fact shows very clear the weird situation.

I hope the Kenia-coalition will be still able to work in Brandenburg - but this will also mean the death of the political parties in this coalition. A good politics is not able to convince a very very big part of the voters any longer.
