This right here, my friends, is exactly why free speech is so damned important... and why moderating it is one of the heaviest responsibilities you have left in this last bulwark of freedom.

That might be true in an educated society. That is far from the case, and we have the addition of massive waves of immigration again, similar to the late 1880's and early 1900's. Assimilation into American traditions is no longer taking place, it's a Balkanized country now, with voting now in how many languages? Importing violent ideologies like Islam and some factions of Hinduism as well and validating them as 'legitimate' isn't turning out well either.

Most Americans don't realize Hinduism isn't much different than Islam re tolerance of other sects. It's illegal to seek converts there same as in Islamic countries. Some assimilate better than others to American Constitutional laws.
