Definitely not buying your story.
Rights to a song dude are NOT how the instrument is played and how you form your fingers.
It is the written words to the song and the music itself.
I'm sorry, I was under the impression that you might have actually heard the song.
"How the instrument is played" is generally referred to as "the music." In this case, the music is based on an epic guitar solo.
And Nugent ADMITTED Rob co wrote THE WORDS TO THE SONG.
Who cares? Tell it to the poetry society.
How would you know, seriously?
I put him about 75th which is very good but his music still sucks.
Why would I care where you put him?
Unless you can play his licks, you're just a blowhard
Now for his style of hard driving head banging rock n roll I put him in top 10.
Clapton does not even play the same style of music Nugent plays.
What planet do you live on?
You are an utter joke. Nugent plays blues inspired rock with a heavy reliance on melodic guitar solos.
What exactly do you think Clapton plays? Country? Jazz?
One of my biggest criticisms of Nugent is that he stole the main phrase of "Hey Baby" from Clapton's song "Hide Away."
From the mod 60s to date I have seen ALL the top bands live.
Hendrix, Grand Funk, 10 Years After-Alvin Lee far better than Nugent, J Geils Band, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Beatles, you name it I saw them when they came through Atlanta.
Clapton recently is playing JJ Cale music.
Are you claiming Nugent's style is blues and JJ Cale style music?

You do not have a clue. Clapton's influences per HIS WORDS:
Blues Roots: BB King, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson and many others
Ted Nugent does not play the blues and what little he did play is not the same style as Clapton.
Nothing against Ted musically as other musicians like him as these days he is real easy to work with. Nugent is a clean living guy and makes it very easy for everyone involved.
Hope he makes a wad of cash.
Clapton and Nugent play nothing that is close to each other. Nugent is not even in the same league as Clapton.
