6 September 2005;12:00 a.m. EDT: The arrest last week of Nation of Islam leader Tony Muhammad gave reason and legitimized the call for an alliance between the Nation of Islam, Radical Muslims, and the notorious street gangs the “The Bloods” & “The Crips.” This is a threat that has long been in the making and needs to be dealt with immediately. As usual, the Nation of Islam is promoting racial tensions once again this time calling for the street gangs, first in Los Angeles but encouraged elsewhere, to quit fighting each other and instead unite and declare Jihad on the LAPD as indicated in the flyer (above) currently being distributed in south central Los Angeles.

The flyer is actively being circulated in south Los Angeles and lists the telephone number to the Muhammad Mosque located at 87th and Vermont in Los Angeles Although the telephone number has been disconnected, research shows that the phone number serviced that N.O.I. mosque accordingly:

Investigation found that admitted former drug dealer and now the Nation of Islam's western regional director, Tony Muhammad, (pictured at left and in the center photo of the flyer above) was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of assaulting a police officer in Los Angeles while protesting the shooting death of 21-year-old Nahun Beaird.

The implications of a united movement against law enforcement as advertised above are ominous and have been sought for some time. Unfortunately, the LAPD as well as all other state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies nationwide, will not be able to go up against the groups effectively once they are assembled and organized as it will most likely entail “hit and run” guerilla warfare as the combined groups substantially outnumber the police. Further, if the “Jihad Gang Group” expands their recruitment to enlist additional ethnic gangs such as the Asian and Hispanic gangs, these numbers would not only exceed the number of law enforcement personnel, but the gang members might even outnumber the people in our military to address domestic threats. As seen last week in the firefights with police, there are well armed gang members who are also incredibly mobile.

Recruitment

The Islamic terror group al Qaeda has all the tools to recruit these people domestically. Some gang experts suspect that al Qaeda and other local gangs, while having no common religious ideology, have common “end game” goals and have been in negotiations with each other for some time. Essentially, we are looking at an army that is already in place that can be bought and expanded locally, as well as through import for reinforcement, which is a frightening thought.

Gang Structure in the United States

In Los Angeles County alone, there are 275 separate but closely connected gangs between the Bloods and the Crips chapters alone. The website http://www.nagia.org shows gang membership estimates from the mid 1990’s to be about 650,000 known gang members in the U.S., and that number has grown tremendously in the last tens years. In 1996, there were over 600 Hispanic gangs; also, the fastest growing gangs in the country were the Asian gangs who displayed their own distinct brutally violent practices.

The gang structure in the United States has been a problem and huge challenge for law enforcement for decades. The gangs have grown in size, are well funded, extremely organized and have fashioned themselves into a corporate-like structure. They derive their income through drug sales, the sales of weapons, prostitution, gambling and murder for hire.

Historically, radical Islamic elements have infiltrated societies in the United States and looked for the disenchanted people, generally composed of minorities and provided them with promises to fight against “the establishment,” and promised them victory over their theoretical “oppressors.” This well funded and organized group use the lure of money, power and a never ending supply of weapons to convince the disenfranchised to join the Islamic faith – the Islamic culture to supposedly bring “purpose and fulfillment” into their lives. They choose these people because they are easy prey; they are not well grounded and have been “spurned and despised” by legitimate society.

A current example of the infiltration into societies can be found, for example, in Buffalo, New York. There, the Islamic mosque has busily but quietly bought up surrounding properties, including a walled compound with barbed wire and have rented the properties out at a loss in revenue in order to have control of the people that live around the mosque. They claim it is for the good of people and to the glory of Islam when in fact it is only a method of controlling who the neighbors are. In fact, they recruit the people from those dwellings to sit on rooftops and telephone alert certain individuals when any non-Muslim enters the neighborhood. I and other members of the Northeast Intelligence Network have fully documented this practice a number of times this summer, and the routine remains the same. Meanwhile, the neighborhood is still visibly full of drug dealers and prostitutes, while no one knows what is taking place where one cannot see. This is the perfect example of the “targeted audience” of Islam- the poor and disenchanted minorities who depend on welfare to subsidize their lifestyle, and would perhaps accept assistance from anyone, including the devil who shows up under the guise of a “religion”.

The same history of infiltration by the “modern” Islamic movement is illustrated in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Algeria, Somalia, throughout Indonesia and many poor parts of the world. Consistent with their tactics in the U.S. and other westernized countries, they seek out the people that are unhappy with the government for various reasons (religious or otherwise), and usually consist of the same type of people who are dependent on government programs for their existence. .It is a well rehearsed, well organized and effective method to turn people against their government and has been the foothold that Islamic terrorists need in each country they have infiltrated.

To put this in perspective and to create a mental image of the possibilities should the above efforts become successful, imagine over a million organized, well armed, al Qaeda trained terrorists running rampant in our country, all with objectives similar in nature. Look what a limited number of terrorists are currently doing in Iraq, and you can see that this is a “potential problem” that is turning into a dangerous reality even while you read this.
