In my opinion, before addressing children's "physical environment" we first need to examine and greatly improve the EMOTIONAL environment so kids feel SAFE, cared for and genuinely loved.

Sadly, far too many developing young kids are raised in SERIOUSLY UNHEALTHY, OPPRESSIVE family and community environments that exposes young developing minds to emotional trauma, resulting with kids like Tupac and Kendrick Lamar maturing into depressed, emotionally damaged teens and adults not caring much about their own lives or the lives of their peaceful neighbors.

Sadly, the human ignorance and OPPRESSION of our past has been *largely* replaced with a new form of UNJUST HUMAN OPPRESSION that nationally popular American recording artists and victims of *Childhood Trauma Kendrick Lamar and the late Tupac Shakur REPEATEDLY* mention in their music, or speak about during interviews.

The *UNJUST HUMAN OPPRESSION,* is a culture of Child Abuse, Neglect & Maltreatment, that for more than two generations has deprived countless American children from experiencing a SAFE, fairly or wonderfully happy American kid childhood that Childhood Trauma victim Kendrick Lamar laments he, his siblings and numerous cousin were deprived from enjoying by a Culture of Gun & Drug Violence fueled by a Culture of Child Abuse, Neglect & Maltreatment.

While there is a serious problem with African American obesity, they obviously don't realize that this trend is derived not from inactivity but the likelihood of uneducated and unwed black women to have children they can neither afford nor care about. Curious if the NAACP is going to host a stop screwing campaign. 70% of black children are born to unwed mothers. This trend has been increasing as the likelihood of discrimination has decreased and the prospects for blacks to get a job/education has increased. So much for blaming black obesity and poverty on white folks.

While there is a serious problem with African American obesity, they obviously don't realize that this trend is derived not from inactivity but the likelihood of uneducated and unwed black women to have children they can neither afford nor care about. Curious if the NAACP is going to host a stop screwing campaign. 70% of black children are born to unwed mothers. Please. Who's "blaming white folks"? The fact is that American children have an obesity problem, varying degrees. Hispanic children have the highest rate, followed by black children. And white children have a higher rate of obesity than Asian children, who have the only single digit rate of all groups surveyed.

It's admirable that the NAACP is at least seeking ways to stabilize the trend.

The NAACP is a political machine that thrives so as long as black people suffer. They never attack the root cause of anything. They simply set up initiatives like the one above when they require more money. Not a single black child will suffer any less from obesity because of their efforts. Not a single one.

This has got to be one of the most ridiculously inane statements ever made in a public forum. Why was the NAACP even formed to begin with?

Because of injustice and human suffering!

Like any other non profit organization they require donations and grants to fund the programs that they sponsor......just like the following organizations do:

The Red Cross, United Way and The Salvation Army.

How can you even state that "NOT ONE black child will suffer any less because of their efforts"? Really?

Unless you have first hand knowledge of EVERY single child who may have been impacted by one of their programs, making such a broad brush assumption invalidates your statement and makes you look foolish.

Originally founded by white socialists who saw blacks as a means to get their party rolling when whites would not adopt their ideology. And thus the NAACP began exploiting the poor and uneducated and continues to do so today. To the NAACP a poor under educated black man on welfare having a bunch of children he cant afford and not caring how their fed = $$$. It never fails. When the NAACP runs low on money at either the local or national level they take to the streets to complain and fund raise. When a tragedy happens they rush out to the crisis and blame white people more so as a means to raise money than to see that justice has been done. They do this even when they know that they're in the wrong. Every single initiative the NAACP begins is simply a means to rake in $$$. If it were anything else you would see the state of black America improve, not degrade.

I read "what you said". And while I was at it, I also read between the lines.

You were almost right in one statement that you made. It is definately true that the vast majority of white Americans who were living when the NAACP came into existence would not accept an ideology that would elevate the black population above 2nd class citizenship as well as outlaw lynching with immunity and impunity.

Secondly, I am aware of who founded the NAACP, and WHY they did.

Their purpose for doing so differs significantly from your version, which you likely copied from a Stormfront publication.

Google the year that the organization was founded, and you will find that it was in close proximity to the Springfield Race Riot of 1908, and read.

You may acquire a better understanding of what life was like in America for the average black citizen at that time and you might learn something new.
