I hope the Wall Street Journal isn’t insinuating that Trump is letting his friends know when he’s going to make a comment that could move the stock market and oil market a certain way.

I don’t think Trump would do that, because that would make him corrupt and he’s not corrupt.
To the left, public announcements constitute 'insider trading'. I remember last April when Trump told everyone to buy stock. The market immediately rose. Leftwingers screamed "insider trading!"

So the article is just about the fact that a public announcement was made? You read nothing else about it.?

Oil is up. Oil is down. This is the market we’re in. But losers try to claim public posts amount to insider trading “But Mash. Not everybody reads Trump’s tweets” Maybe it’s time to start.

The article doesn’t claim that oil always goes up or always goes down. That’s a straw man.
 
This needs to be busted and prosecuted. Treason, pure and simple...
