My view of the United States Constitution is literal and minimal. I believe that if the Constitution does not clearly say something, we should assume that the Constitution is silent on the matter and leave it up to the voters.

Yes, let us leave it up to the voters...

He is only showing the number of people who signed a petition to repeal the Bill of Rights. I am confident that the number of people who refused to sign is larger.

Nevertheless, I would like to repeal several of the Bill of Rights. I would like to repeal the Second Amendment, for example. A reactionary Supreme Court could use the Tenth Amendment to repeal Social Security, Medicare, and most of the environmental regulations.

Without an iIIustration of the point, the OP is meaningless.

It would be pretty lame even with an example.

It is a fact that the Constitution states what it states and doesn’t necessarily mention all things it necessarily implies. It is also a fact that it leaves many things to the States or to the People.

While that might work with reasonably intelligent voters just look at the crazies running around that can vote. No joking either, real crazy people.

Then there are those on the dole that should have no say in continuing to steal from the treasury.

right of life liberty and pursuit of happiness covers that,,
Not specifically. What about the liberty and pursuit of happiness of a woman who is pregnant with a child she does not want to raise? Abortion is popular among those who would rather have fun than babies. They do not want sex to have serious consequence.

Most people on welfare are unemployable and do not vote. Many are unaware of when there is an election and what the issues are.

I am in favor of free abortion on demand. A single government financed abortion would save a small fortune in welfare expense, criminal justice expense, crimes not committed, and the cost of trying to educate someone who is too stupid to learn, and who violently interferes with those who are trying to learn.

States are gerrymandered to hell. So its not left to the People.

if one gets pregnant and then wants an abortion you pay for your own or your ins co pays.... tax dollars should not be used for these kinds of abortions...
