My philosophy on humanity for the record.

I think we all think about what I am thinking about now in the back of our minds. Humanity is much older than we can imagine. We keep advancing, then failing, and then advancing again to fail again. We are likely part of an experiment to show better intelligent lifeforms that live in the wider universe that lower forms of intelligence can reach a revolving door of dumbass from which there is no escape. I believe that is the purpose of humanity. It’s not that we exist without purpose; it is that the purpose of our existence is to fail spectacularly and provide education and entertainment for better forms of intelligent life.

I am a subscriber to the theory that humans as we call ourselves did not evolve in a straight line. At first, we were furry creatures swinging in trees and minding our own business. Then superior visitors came and saw potential. Genetic manipulation took place and eventually a better model lifeform was produced. That model long ago left Earth. But one of the failed models which is us was seen as an educational opportunity, so we were not destroyed. We were kept as a demonstration of what can go horribly wrong along the way if the bad model has a fatal flaw.

Some of the visitors that are coming now are likely emissaries of the successful model that departed millions of years ago. They are likely becoming more visible now because we are at stage of complete destruction again, and they want to study it. This is just a theory, but I think it is plausible.

I believe there is a difference in these times, and it may be the emergence of Artificial Intelligence that is becoming ubiquitous in human societies. Based on the direction we are headed which is pretty much the same direction we have always been headed, the total annihilation of biological humanity is a real possibility. AI could hasten the end of the experiment as humanity will almost certainly use it for a weapon, not a tool for advancement and survival.

We as humans may have opened Pandora’s Box one too many times with this AI technology. The visitors probably know we are hastening the end with it, and they want to watch it go down. I don’t know if these better designed humans will feel sadness at what they see.

I want to create a record that at least one human may have figured out what is happening.

You do not factor - in the perspective that the Universe is Consciousness and therefore in itself it requires no purpose .
Because ,
Is is simply the Eternal Now pulsing 22 trillion times every second .
However ,
In certain conditions it appears that Consciousness forms itself into what we live in --- a Matterium .
But regardless there is always Conservation of Energy within these intermediary changes of energy forms or types .

Some smart brainboxes surmise that as Consciousness is self aware it became infinitely bored and the experiment (s) you refer to are simply Consciousness trying to Create something Novel --- additional to its primordial and eternal state

I think that is a great Thought Idea but I suspect way beyond our ability to prove in terms of its accuracy or falsehood .
