My MAGA neighbor is pissed

Either your neighbor is getting ripped off by the pharmacy, or you are lying:

Key initiatives by former President Joe Biden, such as the $35 monthly cap on insulin, the $2000 annual OOP cap on prescription drugs, and Medicare’s authority to negotiate drug prices under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), remain unaffected by Trump’s executive actions.

Under Part D

Not all insulins are or were $35. Depends on which 4 or 5 is in his company formulary. If that is the case then whatever plan he may have probably has a $590 deductible before usually tier 3,4 and 5 and then responsible for either a co pay or 25% or 30%. But what he pays adds up to $2000 including his deductible that's it for year.

Another scenario is maybe his insurance company took it off the formulary for 2025.

Trump has been in office a week; how could he have an effect on the price of anything in such a short time?
Don’t be logical. 😁

The troll is going to troll. Making up fake interactions with a neighbor and acting like he was a tough guy in his response was the red flag.

Trump action: Medicaid portals shut down in all 50 states.. The WH lied about this earlier

Update for new administration. Calm your hemorrhoids. You lied.

Filled his insulin last month for $10.00.

Picked up his refill at Dillons Pharmacy today for nearly $800.00.

Happened to encounter him at the store, said howdy just to be neighborly, and caught an earful. For some reason he was under the impression it was everyone else's prescriptions that were gonna go up, not his.

My reply?

This is what you voted for, tough shit.

I do actually kinda feel for the guy though. He's retired and this is gonna put a huge dent in his finances.
Cool story, but it didn’t happen.

1 insulin prices didn’t increase 8000% in a month.

2 even if they did you wouldn’t have the interaction you described with your neighbor because of it.

Nothing's gonna change the fact that this OP proves Crepitus is a straight-up liar. :twirl:

He fucked himself with his vote, but will he even realize it?
