He, Musk and crew are cleaning up after many years of dead-weight, and the problem is some of those people may spend less economically. In fact some may earn less if they choose to work at all, because salaries in the private sector are dependent on production as opposed to an entitlement.

And my biggest complaint is the USA's war machine generates big dollars for our economy, and Trump actually wants to save bombs as opposed exploding them. War really benefits an economy, just ask Johnson, Obama and Biden.

it ain't Trumps economy yet .. 5 weeks in office isn't enough time to implement his policies and effect the economy .. the pain Americans are feeling is the ongoing effect of the Briben disaster of an admin ..

In general people working for the government make less than the private sector unless you are under educated. The government pays dumb people more than the private sector. If you have a degree go for tyhe private sector. Many MAGA minions in that group

In general, government employees earn less than private sector employees in similar jobs. This pay gap varies based on education, job role, and collective bargaining rights.

Factors affecting pay gap
  • Education
In 2022, federal employees with a high school education earned more than private sector employees, while those with a bachelor's degree earned less.

It didn’t take long to start putting tariffs on other countries, which definitely is affecting the economy.

The problem with war is it also benefits the economy in terms of exerting influence over other countries. Attacking Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya helped destroy a resurgent OPEC trying to control oil prices much more.

BULLSHIT!!!

He is currently tanking the economy.

Less than 6 weeks and he's got us in a recession already.

Well, I don't suppose you considered the fed. govt. defined retirement plan, and other perks too huh? But you're educated I suppose, someone needs to walk you through it.

I worked in govt., and for the most part education didn't equate to better employees, including "professional positions". The best employees came from the private sector, and were often "under-educated".... weird.

******* govt. programmers, geezuzzzzz, they often had to hire contractors (Indians) to get it right. So maybe, just maybe, they were over-paid too? Same the man-haters with social degrees and woke.

OK, so when FJB had two quarters of negative growth (the traditional definition of a recession) well into his term the dems and their MSM lackeys completely ignored it.

I'm sure I can expect the same "understanding" now that Trump is POTUS.....Right?

That was when you guys tried to convince everyone there was a recession?

Yeah, no one bought that nonsense.

Meanwhile, Trump’s corrupt cronies are talking about redefining GDP to hide the effects of their policies.

That’s a rule of thumb but it’s not always correct.

When was the last time you saw a recession without layoffs?

Just because you have a simplistic view of the economy doesn’t make you right.
