I was in Vietnam the last two Christmases and there were decorations and celebrations pretty much everywhere. This is a communist country with about 3% Christians. Best of all, not a Muslim to be seen much less heard.

There is a great amount of overlap between the two religions.

If a Rabbi, a Priest of some theologian expert tries to tell me otherwise (many of them profiting on youtube on both sides for clicks) I will just nod my head. It will be dismissed internally but politely.

When I followed the New Testament I didn't need to follow what an expert told me because the book is available. Ditto for the Torah.

Jesus was a Jew. Most of his teaching were Judaism. His mistakes were abundant but the core tenets of his teaching are true Judaism.

Who would you trust if you were in a jam, someone who was born and raised on a kibbutz or someone who drives home the idea that Christianity and Judaism are diametrically opposed?

Yes, there are two different religions but read my detailed and I believe thoughtful post on the subject in the Religion forum about our need to protect Judeo-Christian values.
