Music Night

After the NCAAs were over last night, there was nothing good on TV. I don't recall how we got on the subject, but my wife mentioned an old song she likes that she knows I also like so I pulled it up on youtube. The boys liked it, so I pulled up another old song I like then our oldest wanted me to listen to a more contemporary song he likes (I didn't like it) then we listened to another of my wife's favorites then another of mine, etc. We ended up spending almost three hours all sitting around listening to music together. It turned out to be a nice night.

We had music time DURING dinner. We'd put one of our many vinyls on and play the whole thing. We actually had a lot of movie soundtracks we used to listen to together, generally pre-1970 stuff going all the way back to the 50's.
