DETROIT — A suburban Detroit homeowner was convicted on Thursday of the shotgun murder of a young woman after she banged on his front door last November in the middle of the night.

DETROIT — A suburban Detroit homeowner was convicted on Thursday of the shotgun murder of a young woman after she banged on his front door last November in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately, with her drunk driving ( 3 times above the legal limit), and drugged driving (pot), hit and run, and disappearing from the cops twice as they arrived an hour apart - started the events in action that night. Where the hell was she hiding for 3 hours from the cops before she started to bang on someone's door at 4 AM? She could have just as easily killed someone with her drunk driving. Instead, she made some really idiotic decisions. The homeowner overreacted to a stranger banging on his house and door, he should have called 911.

They both are responsible for what happened, no ifs ands or buts about it.
