I would think anyone who would purposely drive a car into a crowd of people, is not an "average" of anything.

I wouldn't hold out much hope of an apology I'm afraid, they might even simply deny your interpretation of the attack too, people do that you know, upsetting for the victims families I know, but life's a bitch sometimes isn't it...

What is known about the suspect?
According to the police, the driver is a 24-year-old man from Afghanistan. The man was apprehended and the police fired shots during the arrest. According to the police, there are no indications of other people involved.
The suspected Munich attacker has not yet committed any crimes and was not required to leave the country. This was stated by Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) in an interview with Bayerischer Rundfunk radio this evening. The 24-year-old had a residence and work permit from the city of Munich.
He had also not been investigated for shoplifting, but had only appeared as a store detective as a witness to a theft. There were no indications of danger at any time, nor are there any state protection records. ...

Extremist! He drove intentionally into a group of demonstrating people of the trade union "ver.di". It had happened three attacks of people from Afghanistan during the current election campaign in Germany. All this attacks help the Nazis from the political party "AfD" which is on the side of Putin and anti-European as well as anti-American.
