I got to say, I never really liked her even though she gave voice to a lot of my concerns politically as she was kind of the Jerry Springer of conservatism.

I even agree with a lot of the complaints about the Swamp on both sides of the political isle. However, someone who has voiced that she thinks 9/11 was an inside job, and that the shooter in Las Vegas was staged by democrats who wanted to ban guns, without any evidence, is just a canker sore in the mouth of conservatives because if she is right, she wins a cookie. But all it did was make conservatives look like a bunch of AOC's on acid. And someone who tries to side with Democrats so endlessly subsidize a health care system that is unaffordable simply does not have a place in the GOP.

Simply put, she is not that bright and has no class, although I think it finally came to the realization of the latter by trying to tone down her rhetoric that often-sounded bat sh$t crazy. To her credit, she also was smart enough to know that after she had riled up Trump, he was going to squash her like a tin can politically.

Is she smart enough to know that she has no political path to run for President in 2028? That remains to be seen but I would not hold my breath if I were you.

It is possible that some folks in Congress may be smart enough to figure out, that we all disagree with each other to some degree on several issues. Unfortunately, when there is a majority two party political system, it narrows the options for the fringe groups or those with stronger convictions, and they are forced to join one party or the other to even make it somewhere.

President Trump has been working both overtly and covertly to fracture both the Republican and the Democrat parties. You can look at the last Republican Primaries and how he pushed folks out of that with just enough supporters to make it happen. What are the chances that if successful, members of Congress who have the guts to fight the fight and take the heat, start thinking of better options, and finally consider the idea of providing us with more viable options in parties to choose from? I don't believe that is going to happen organically or on its own, because the power structure within the establishment has to be weakened before it can succeed.

If it does happen, it is most certainly going to be ugly, because the politicians and people have grown complacent with the idea they can just blame disfunction, the establishment or the other party. Some of the people I am talking to are upset about the establishment, and what Representative Taylor-Greene is talking about. We need to keep the fire hot, start demanding more from all of our Representatives, and threaten them with the idea they are not as secure as they think they are.

If nothing else, in the political arena of discussion and debate, President Trump managed to provide some people with the guts to stand up and say, "I don't think so, and we don't even need to discuss it." Seize that kind of power back and stop playing the game they want you to play. But don't quit and figure out how to beat them by appropriately letting them know that you think their game sucks. Representative Taylor-Greene just quit, after saying she would never stop fighting; oh well.

But that's probably optimism on my part and simply recognizing an opportunity, because a lot of people think President Trump is just stupid, careless, hardly ever knows what he is doing and doesn't have clue how to get people to do what he wants them to; we'll see.
