I don't know how much MSNBC would cost, but I would prefer they reform their network. I don't know if Musk buying it helps or if it just pushes ABC and CNN further left as they try and grab some of those who would exit because of Musk.

Musk has a platform he is slowly changing into a streaming platform. This would pose a minor threat to youtube for streaming though Alphabet, the parent company is massive and untouchable at this juncture.
