My brother stepped down as VP. Last salary, about $1 million a year. Because women and blacks are in such short supply, companies are willing to pay women and minorities more. The woman who replaced my brother made $2 million. She eventually left for more money too. The black guy who replaced her made 4 x what my brother makes. Same exact position.

There may be reasons Joy is paid less. How many will tune in to watch her?

Hoda made much less than Matt Lauer when she took over for him.
