Just on Sixth Amendment grounds alone, any remaining J6 defendants who have not yet had their trials should have all charges dropped with prejudice.

They've been held, now, without trial, for over two years, in clear violation of the Sixth Amendment requirement for a speedy trial. In many instances, they have already been punished more than would be appropriate if properly convicted and sentenced for the charges pending against them.

Lengthy pre-trial stays won't do it. Thats common in the US. For reference Anna Delvey was arrested on October 3, 2017. The high profile but easy case did not go to trial until March 20, 2019. Fed is backed up even more.

There is no excuse for that. None at all.

The intent of the Sixth Amendment is very clear; exactly to prevent this sort of abuse, of effectively imprisoning and publishing people for crimes of which they have not been duly tried and convicted.
