Yes she was also black. So where's all the outrage and BLM now? This woman should rot behind bars forever!! She doesn't deserve to be called a mother.

Seems very harsh .
The woman is mentally unwell .Very ill.

For sure the kid's needs are priority .
But the woman has lost touch with reality and I would be very surprised if she knew what she was doing .
And other people must hold some responsibility for failing to notice somethings were disastrously wrong .
Unless society has decided to lose interest in such challenged individuals and only wants to punish them , we surely must commit to try and help her and determine how the system failed her and the kids , regardless of the woman's apparent inhumanity .

I don't think it's necessarily the system that failed her. Sometimes, some people are simply born with a mental illness, and it's not society's fault. But yes, we should help people like her. I have something in mind that starts with "steri" and ends in "tion". Can't say it cause I might get banned.
