Why would a craft that is extraterrestrial crash on earth after traveling across space to get here? Their abilities seem to far exceed ours, yet they crash here?

Spirits of the air??? According to the link below I am currently residing in the state with the highest reported UFO sightings in our America. I worked in Alaska for roughly 5.5 years(99-05), & Alaska has the 4th highest reported UFO sightings of all 50 states. I have never seen a so called UFO but know a few folks that have claimed they did.

Alaska is a different cut of the cake, atrocious winters & short summers. The further north one travels the people thin out & the winters/darkness become both more severe & prevalent. Back in 1986 the crew of a cargo aircraft had an unusual encounter. I included 4 of the vids I could find on the JAL-1628 incident, as over time incidents are updated as well as newer vids can lose some of the original content. The original vid I seen on YouTube back in 2000 or so of this event seems to me to have been roughly 19/22 minutes long, but I could not find it on YouTube.
