More than 150 schoolchildren quarantined as US measles cases hit 33-year high

Only the "illegal" ones? So are you trying to say that somehow "legal" immigrants carry immunity from measels?
Of all of the bizarre conspiracy theories these MAGA dopes come up with...this one is more bizarre than most. Somehow the illegals come in through Arizona and affect South Carolina!!!! They’re masterminds in the ways of espionage.

And clearly you care more about a fetus than a child.
I care deeply about children — both before and after they’re born. I believe parents are entrusted with the responsibility to make decisions based on their beliefs, values, and what they think is best. Public health is important, but so is freedom of conscience. We can value vaccines and still believe people should have the right to choose them — especially when faith, culture, or personal conviction are involved.

Do you value the personal conviction of a parent over the life of a child?

And the kids suffering from easily prevented infections....what do you say to them? “God wants you to suffer?” Yeah...have a heaping helping of go **** yourself.

I value both — because for most parents, their convictions are about protecting their child’s life, not endangering it. It’s a false choice to pit those two things against each other. Loving parents make countless decisions every day — from surgeries to medical treatments to education — based on what they sincerely believe is in their child’s best interest. Vaccination is one of those deeply personal decisions, and weighing risks, benefits, beliefs, and circumstances doesn’t mean they care less about their child’s life.

Respecting parental authority isn’t about rejecting science or ignoring public health — it’s about recognizing that families, not governments or strangers, carry the responsibility for raising and protecting their children. In a free society, we can hold space for both strong public health recommendations and the right of parents to make informed, values-based choices for their kids.

Unfortunately sometimes these are pitted against each other. That’s not my doing, it’s how the world works.

A parents personal conviction against vaccines led to the death of that child.

But not only that, a huge industry has cropped up to encourage parents to endanger their child by doing the same thing.

How does society reckon with that? Pretend it doesn’t happen?

I don’t deny that tragedies can happen — they absolutely do. But tragedies also happen with vaccines, in spite of vaccines, and in countless areas of life where we still preserve the right for families to choose. Parenting is about navigating risk in an imperfect world. Every decision — from getting a medical procedure to putting a child in a car — carries a potential consequence. We don’t outlaw cars because accidents happen, and we shouldn’t strip away parental authority because some decisions end tragically.

The existence of risk doesn’t automatically justify coercion. It calls for better education, more transparency, and a respect for informed consent — not blanket mandates. And while there are bad actors profiting from misinformation, there are also powerful industries profiting from pushing medical interventions without accountability. Society’s role should be to equip parents with truth and options, not to remove their right to make decisions born from love and conviction.

If a parent believes their kids shouldn’t be in car seats, I suppose that’s fine too?

You say tragedy as though it was just fate and there’s nothing that could have been done.

I don’t think tragedy is the right word when the parents intentionally put their children at risk.

I get why the car seat analogy sounds compelling, but it’s not an accurate comparison. A car seat is a mechanical safety device with no biological impact; vaccines are medical interventions that involve risk-benefit considerations, personal beliefs, and ethical concerns. Most parents who decline a vaccine aren’t trying to put their kids in danger — they’re making what they believe is the safest choice based on their understanding and values. That’s why we call those outcomes ‘tragedies’ — they’re unintended consequences, not acts of neglect. If we start equating every parental decision that carries risk with wrongdoing, we’d have to outlaw countless choices families make every day.”

The man that paid those thugs to come to DC on J6 is now trying to change history, locking up his political opponents and lying about everything he can. The fat, Felon in Chief is a large, orange, piece of feces. Magat
That paid who? It was Pelosi who brought the 274 FBI agents to cause trouble. That's why she would not accept Trump's 20,000 National Guard troops to protect the Capitol. She is the one who knew what was going to happen. Not Johnson.

Imagine if there was a huge industry out there with people trying to convince parents that their car seats were harming their children.

And a lot of parents agreed and car seat use went down a lot.

Then kids started dying from it.

Would you be so passive about it?

Strange how the outbreak didn’t happen during Biden’s alleged “the floodgates are open” approach and only took root after our CDC director started dissing vaccines.

Interesting timing don’t you think?

Let me guess...you’ll blame the deep state....or the swamp...or the press...or Antifa...or gay marriage or anything or anyone else besides your blob and the joke of a CDC director he has.

Go ahead...we’re already laughing at your reasoning...it can’t get any worse.
Fauci is one of yours who is the cause of all this. Fauci and Obama were the ones cooking up the Covid19 virus in China. Interesting timing with Trump creating peace in the world around 2020 including keeping Putin from more aggression against Ukraine. As you also remember, it was okay for Democrat socialist-communists to protest openly in the streets but Republican capitalist-Constitutional Republics could not go to the beach or attend their bill of rights to attend church. Interesting how Trump did everything Fauci and company wanted done like a quick vaccine, mask availability, floating hospitals and much more. Yet, he was still demonized by the Democrat left as the left rioted in the streets as well. Which was approved by Democrat states, cities and federal politicians in Congress. Your idiots made 6 feet lines and a bunch of stupid stuff. No, Democrats have blood on their hands for Covid19.

Their children get the vaccines. Illegals don't. Yes, it's because we have 20 million new unwanted people in the country bringing their diseases here as well expecting us to flip for the cost.

Makes you wonder why Trump kept him on the payroll for 4 years.
Fauci and Obama were the ones cooking up the Covid19 virus in China.
More fiction.

LOL...

Attend their bill of rights? I think your blood brain barrier may be leaking.

Interesting how you have to re-write history to get it to fit into your cartoonish mind.

You’re right...no democrats have blood on their hands for Covid19.
