Exactly. So why are Ukranians special? Because they're embarassing the Russian military? Nobody runs around sniveling about Finland's accepting aid from Germany and calling them Nazis, or Sweden for its supplies of iron and steel to Germany throughout WW II.
It's due to Ukraine's government - Interior Ministry, later on also the MoD, having supported and deployed knowingly Nazi-affiliated units/militias in e.g. Mariupol in 2014-2016
and being an integrated part of the Ukraine National Guard. E.g. Azov Battalion being one of the more known ones, that had before been integrated with other right-wing militias
into the far right preliminary Ukraine National Corps = a political party representing right-wingers in the Ukraine and also actively running it's own militias.
These groups (Azov just being one of them) are financed and trained via international organizations right down to Western government related intelligence agencies, who subcontracted
to so called Military/Security consultant companies e.g. National Corps members were trained in Poland. Members of the Ukraine National Corps were e.g. identified amongst hooligans
during instigated-violent turning Hong-Kong riots.
As such Ukraine is the only country known to me, who's government officially sanctioned such units. US Congress in 2018 banned the use of military funds to be used to equip
and train such units/militias. But until their more or less demise at Mariupol in 2022 the Azov Battalion later Brigade, were trained/equipped, and fed via NATO and EU financial support.
Putin didn't just pull out the Nazi issue from his hat. That he blew this issue out of proportions is understood.
That there is a significant part of the regular Ukraine Armed Forces "inspired/infected" with right wing philosophy isn't a secret either, to those NATO forces having trained the UAF or
still being in daily contact - BTW, the Baltic States are no exception in this matter either.
