You cannot win a war by attacking civilians and civilian infrastructure..ask Hitler about the battle of Britain. Troops must win battles on the ground and occupy territory..at which Russia has been unsuccessful.

You might want to come up to speed and find out what's currently happening between the Russian army and Ukrainian forces at the strategic city of Bakhmut.

Yup..one city..of 70,000 may fall...a symbolic victory, I guess for the Russians..strategically however..it really doesn't mean much..and the huge casualties taken will make it a Pyrrhic victory at best.

The purpose of Russia having jet fighters in the air was to shoot down all the Ukraine jet fighters.
Which has been accomplished and Russia now controls the sky over Ukraine.
So now there is no reason for Russia to fly their expensive jet fighters.
And have been using massive numbers of guided missiles to destroy targets all over the country of Ukraine.
