I've seen estimates where up to 2% of the population have biological reasons to believe they are the wrong gender.

Some extreme like hermaphrodites who literally have both sets of genitals

And less extreme ones like their estrogen or testosterone production isn't working correctly.

They're not all "gender dysphoric", a significant percentage seem to have legitimate biological indicators of being both sexes.

I don't think we should create new genders for this very small subeset of humans, but they're certainly not all gender dysphoric or in anyway way crazy.
