And this happened during the ramp up in private gun ownership. Obviously more guns on the streets has not made anyone safer.

So…the worst mass shootings in history….South Korea, Norway and Australia………all disarmed populations……...

If we account for the large variance in population, that would account for approximately 25 to 30 gun related deaths and/or injuries per day in the US. Sweden has slightly more than this for a full year. So please continue to tell us how bad it is in Sweden and how good it is in the US when it comes to guns.
