So five airports are shut down for at least an hour. And why that was is not fully explained. Seems like taking a train would be faster now.

It says right in the very short article that the ATC was evacuated… doesn’t say why. It could have been fire, flood, threat, or someone found black mold in the AC unit.

Doesn’t matter, you can’t move commercial aircraft around and in or out of the airports that ATC services.

Darn those safety guys.

FAKE NEWS. It was A problem, at one location, affecting several places, that is all. The FAA said the disruption came from an environmental problem at the TRACON facility in Washington, Virginia, which oversees around 20,000 square miles of airspace.
