A woman was killed and five other people were hurt when gunfire erupted early Sunday at a large outdoor gathering on Chicago's West Side – one of three separate shootings to occur in the same neighborhood in fewer than three hours, according to police.

Democrats: "We need more gun control".

Fact of the matter is, what you need is a family structure (read: fathers around) and a change in the culture. That's the long term stuff.

In the short term you need the National Guard under President Trump's leadership. Send in tanks if you need to. Things are out of control.

As a former instructor and range officer, I am a total believer in Gun Control, as it insures accuracy and safe operation with repetitive practice.

More bad news from my home town. Someone has to be the blame for this and it's not the Republicans. I live just 60-70 miles from downtown Chicago, haven't been there in close to 13 years and I don't plan on going back in the future.

Chicago isn't what it used to be. I lived in the Lombard/Glenn Ellyn/Elmhurst/Worth/Blue Island areas in the late 50's until the mid 60's, back when they were nothing but corn fields. Hate to think what they look like now.

Damn. Now I have a hankerin' for a sack of White Castle's burgers.
