Remember, cutting government spending and applying tariffs is supposed to make life so expensive for Americans.

Hmmmm

The more money the government cuts, the lower the deficit and better trade balances, the lower inflation will become as workers get back to work, wages slightly increase beyond the CPI rate for real wage growth. This isn't rocket science, especially if Trump is able to reclaim your manufacturing industries.

Just keep your central planners out of your economy.

Democrats seem to have conveniently forgotten that Trump was president before, put on tariffs, and inflation did not go up. And yet democrats are trying really hard to claim otherwise right now.

Democrats are known LIARS. Corrupt to their core there's no LIE they won't tell.

Inflation is still above the 2 percent goal.

Inflation is a lagging economic indicator of 12 months to 2 years. What that means to you economically illiterate dumbasses is that this lower inflation is the result of Biden policies.

The fallout from Trump's idiotic trade war won't be felt for some time.

Interest rates are dropping, too. On weakness.

We've gone from solid growth to the opposite.

Massive overnight domestic and global instability will do that. Markets, businesses and consumers hate drama.

Atlanta Fed shock sounds 'Trumpcession' warning

Again, inflation is a lagging indicator. Trump inflation was felt after he left office.

The tariffs, combined with massive stimulus spending, combined with a surge in demand for goods for which there was no supply, led to the post-pandemic inflation.

But this is all way too complicated for you MAGAs to understand, so your propagandists weaved a giant, easy to digest, lie for you.

Solid growth? Are you really that dense?
What is your education, training, credentialing, continuing education and practical experience in macroeconomic analysis and application?

If it's not at my level, your opinion means nothing to me.

In fairness, it already means nothing to me.

Sorry.

During inflationary times, the Fed's monetary policy has the largest effect on the inflation rate. There is a huge lead time between when they change the interest rate to the effect felt on inflation.

Any drop in inflation today is the result of the Fed hiking the interest rate a long time ago.

The inflation rate under President Trump's last term was steady between 1% and 2%.
Then tater head took over, penalized the energy sector and inflation rose to double digits.
You should stear clear of subjects you know nothing about.

Nope.
The the numbers don't lie.
You do.
Go back and look at the numbers.
President Trump's first term was steady between 1% and 2% FACT.
You getting emotional about it and lashing out childishly does not change the facts.
tater head's policies brought this country high inflation during his entire term.
Maybe the low info people such as yourself that voted for cornpop should take some responsibility.

Damn, you can only imagine what your opinion means to many of us.

Trump was elected on third base and told you gullible fools he hit a triple.

Biden had to deal with the disaster left to him by Trump's grossly stupid and incompetent handling of the pandemic. Just like Obama had to deal with the massive economic crash left to him by Bush.

These are simple facts which your brainwashed mind cannot process.

Try to get this through your thick head: Inflation is a lagging indicator.

Let me know which words are too big for you.

Yet it got way worse under Biden and is lowering under Trump, in less than 2 months.
