Only the doors are open for displaying👍 the wins. You didn't think Trump was fooling around did you? No, he just says stupid things sometimes to get a rise out of some people, while behind the scenes he's shrewd, smooth and respectable, with 10 lb. balls, and craft toward the goal everyone's happy. Less lib. democrats anyway, but what can you do when Trump juggles little kittens, and likes the pussies too, he's a bad man☺

I have no problem with us buying Greenland as long as we do it above board. What should never happen as an American is our recent embrace of gunboat diplomacy.

I agree that buying Greenland is the best option.

As for "gunboat diplomacy", is that regarding arresting Maduro? (not "diplomacy", that is law enforcement)
or was it a warning to Iran?
or a warning to Cuba?
or a warning to Columbia?
or a warning to Mexico?

Saying you'll take it "one way or the other" is a type of gunboat diplomacy.

Mexico? They're an ally. So is Denmark.

Why are we warning our allies?

OK, fair enough, I had not considered Trump's tweets for Greenland as "gunboat diplomacy".
I don't think Rubio and Trump's other advisors would support a military takeover of Greenland, but I could be wrong??

Denmark is a NATO "ally" on paper only, they have no real military power, and should be reminded of it.
Mexico is a major trading partner, but also a drug conduit for drugs that killed 400,000 Americans during Biden's term.
If Trump bombs fentanyl manufacturing facilities in Mexico, I'd call that a necessary action to save US lives.

‘Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard’: Republicans amp up their resistance to Trump’s Greenland push

President Donald Trump is talking about taking over Greenland by any means necessary. Republicans in Congress are trying to scare him back to reality.

As Trump continually threatens to bring the Danish territory into the U.S. over the objections of key global allies and the island’s elected representatives, some GOP lawmakers are stepping up their warnings and engaging in diplomacy as Democrats prepare to put the other party on record opposing a military invasion.

European troops in Greenland won’t change Trump’s mind, White House says

The deployment of European troops in Greenland doesn't alter U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to get his hands on the Arctic island, the White House said.

"I don't think troops in Europe impacts the president's decision-making process or impact his goal of the acquisition of Greenland at all," White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Thursday when asked whether recent announcements of European boots on the ground would affect Trump's calculus.

More evidence trump isn't in his right mind.
