Mod staffing updates?

When we've made mod change announcements in the past, the usual trolls and assholes start up with disparaging remarks towards the mod(s) coming in and whoever is going out. Others have tried to make the threads about themselves and their grievances.

Maybe you should learn not to be a troll in this forum where it is particularly forbidden.

Of course it is not. But that makes it the perfect training ground for the new moderator. Plus the new mod gets to know the trolls.

New mods are well aware of who the forum trolls are before they become mods.
