I’m at the Chicago O’Hare Airport… first of all. I have to say it is a nice looking airport. There’s plenty of restaurants and it’s quite large. A lot better than the shit hole LAX airport.

By the way, I was in Las Vegas for three weeks ….the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport is one of the best in the country in my opinion props to them.

But let’s talk about the O’Hare airport. How many people here have experienced problems. Well let me say that a lot of flights are delayed not just mine and it’s created a very mass group of people just rushing around. Restaurants are full. People seem pretty agitated.

In the past two years, I spent over one year in Cambodia and Thailand. I’ve never experienced any problems at the Airports of these countries. I mean we’re talking about Cambodia here. OK that’s according to many people a “Third World country.” Yet their Airport was pretty sufficiently managed.

Hats off to the wonderful men and women of the TSA, the restaurant and janitor workers at the Chicago airport. I think the problem is with management. I think it’s a combination of stupidity by the airline managers and the airport managers. Either way something is off at O’Hare International Airport.

The only things showing up in recent news are a story about Chicago O’Hare’s Airfield Security Comes Into Question After Another Breach Occurs and O'Hare Airport sets new travel record at TSA checkpoints

I hate that airport. Connections are a nightmare. Seems they try to make sure that your connection is clear across the terminal and especially when you have a short time to make it. I'll take Midway anytime.

You just couldn't help yourself from making it about Trump, right?

I bet when your shitter overflows, you blame it on Trump too, right? :laughing0301:
Yay remember you’re talking with a left-wing lunatic. Chicago is a blue city too so lots of the people in this airport are lefties….woke blm white lefties don’t care about hard working people of Chicago.

But yay the OP makes no mention of Republicans and Democrats.

Depends upon which part...It has been added onto at least three times.

I've only been through that airport a few times and didn't really have any problems but it wasn't on peak days at peak hours.

We were traveling as a group to Vegas once and our flights got all messed up by weather. They ended up breaking the group apart and sent us in all sorts of different directions but we ended up all still getting to Vegas within an hour or so of each other. Airlines can be kind of good at logistics despite their reputation otherwise.

Anyway, it still beats wagon trains and plague ships so I try not to get too worked up when things go awry.

Wow, what an ordeal here at the O’Hare airport. My flight to Buffalo was originally supposed to leave at 8:30 PM. It was delayed at 10:30 PM and then again delayed till midnight and right when the plane arrive everyone was about to get on the plane they all of a sudden canceled the flight. I got a new flight leaving at 6 AM so I’m stuck at the airport all night. Won’t arrive in Buffalo until 11:45 AM.

this problem specifically was with American Airlines. But btw as for the issues with the O’Hare airport, there are a few things a number of the restaurant say they’re open 24 seven but they were closed around 10 PM. What’s up with that. That doesn’t happen in the other airports.

Anyway, we had a big situation here about three or four flights were canceled…. All with American Airlines. It resulted in a disastrous situation of a bunch of customers running to the customer service center, and then having to wait in line for hours. Some customers never even got to see the customer support because customer support left at 2 AM.

I waited in line for a long time. I’m handicap so I had to sit down at times. Luckily the person behind me said it was fine. Anyway I finally got to the front of the line and the Customer Service guy said OK “You are the last customer I’m seeing” there was a lady and a family of Three behind me and I said you know what just let the family of three take my spot and the other lady behind me was fine with it.

Praise Jesus for that. I think most men would’ve done what I would’ve done. I think most of women would have to. Just the right thing to do you know give up your spot for a family.

But I think there were some good karma there because I was able to get a new flight at 6 AM that does have a layover but it’s better than having to leave the airport get a hotel get a taxi to and from the airport. I was very lucky getting the new flight. It was kind of random the way it worked.

But yay this was horrifically managed by American Airlines. I will not fly with American Airlines again. They don’t have televisions in the airplane. It’s a ******* joke. Even the planes in Cambodia in Thailand they have wonderful customer service they have televisions. It’s a shit show here.

I know the drug addict addicted left-wing trolls Don’t even read this far into the message. But we have people from Jamaica, who were here who had a flight canceled who are now stuck in this airport with nowhere to go. One unfortunate Jamaican lady was crying because she had to get back to New York City to work her shift tomorrow. She was clearly a hard-working person, not with a lot of money and you just feel for her. May God be with her. And American Airlines totally screwed her over. What a terrible situation and a horrible horrific job by American Airlines

There was another group of young people going to Switzerland who are totally fucked because of American Airlines. And because American Airlines is making a bullshit claim these people cannot get hotel vouchers, they cannot get a refund.

So there’s four restaurants here at my terminal in o’Hare international Airportthat claim to be open 24 seven. Only one is open and it’s Dunkin’ Donuts. 😂 There’s three Indian guys working there slaving away and there’s a line of like 50 people all night …

Now that’s a problem with O’Hare international Airport. Just stupid management. Cheap management won’t pay workers enough. They’re short staffed btw at numerous restaurants here. Cheap scum.

American Airlines also has a staff shortage. What a joke.

I haven't been on an airplane since 1991 and so I have no idea how things go in that part of life these days.

God bless you always!!!

You are not missing one thing. Used to be a nice experience; now reduced to Greyhound busses in the sky. I no longer fear flying--but I do fear what kind of crazies might be on board with me.

This is all on the employers. They dont pay enough to attract people. They forget effort is tied to wage. Ask an employee to produce more then you had better pay more.
