Ice fishing time. Finally get to use my shanty. 100 bluegill, 60 perch,30 crappie between 2 people on Friday pretty good freaking day. Going again tomorrow.

We've been 10-15 degrees colder than usual here, too. We just bundle up and keep on going. Okay, I'll admit, I only do outside work on my place that has to be done. I've been using the cold as an excuse to sit fireside and catch up on my reading. Cats and pocket-pooch don't complain except when I get up to throw another stick on the the fire and refresh my beverage.

Another 4 inches of snow in Virginia. I'm still confused about how the earth can be warming when it's colder. The theory of MMGW fits all the parameters of a religion rather than a science. You have to disregard your senses, suspend your belief in how the world works and have faith in the word of a man (Al Gore) who has no background in science as well as unnamed "scientists" who claim to have the ability to predict the future..
