Nonsense. The TSA has done a solid job, given the hand they were dealt. If they want to make improvements, etc - they need to have a plan in place before just "cutting it".

Failing every surprise test isn’t doing a “ solid job”. Add to that the fact that you can pull up to any airport in a van with a couple of RPGs and destroy a dozen or more airliners and escape in the crowd. All TSA does is crowd control and provide an illusion of security at the expense of immense amounts of inconvenience for the traveling public.

That’s more due to the fortified cockpits and air marshals providing deterrence than the TSA screening.
