Mexico Worries Trump Will Order Strikes Against Drug Cartels

well, I see another issue brewing:

I have noticed a clash between what Tom Homan says and plans to do v. Elon Musk. Those are the two Trump must chose between as one has to go.

Both Homan and Musk are men, and they are both in agreement that America needs to return to greatness. I'm sure they'll be able to talk it out that men.

But Trump is a man of peace you all claim.

It's a peaceful mission. Getting rid of the drug fueled violence. Mexico can't do it because the cartel has more money than the government.
We haven't done it yet because Cartel money is also in DC. Let's see what they offer Trump to leave them alone.

Unlike politicians the cartels will have no issue with retaliating.

Drugs are a major problem in the country and a lot are coming from south of the border.

Dope was found in Biden's residence even, and they haven't found who brought it in, yet. Fortunately that will be resolved with Kash Patel as head of the FBI beginning next month.

I agree....but they would be stupid to give Trump an excuse to break out the Marines....
They can retaliate by stopping the payola money to DC....then Trump would have his plate full with pissed off Gopers and Dems.

Trump hasn't even been sworn in yet and is already racking up foreign policy wins.

Cartels control over a third of the country. A majority of Mexicans would welcome U.S. forces coming in and shutting down cartel violence.

It's a shame we can't ship dopers arrested for possessing cartel imported dope and having them tried as accessories to the 200 thousand murders of Mexicans for their support of these vermin. You have to be a real piece of shit to buy anything from these scum.
You'd think mexico would be welcoming of the US going to war against the cartels....if they are serious about improving their country...in fact, i woyld make it a requirement in exchange for any aid we send them.

Huh? You think eliminating the drug cartels would be a bad thing? Are drugs that kill Americans any less important than Russians killing people in ukraine.

You'd think Mexico would be glad to get our help in wiping out the cartels. The only reason they wouldn't be happy about that would be if the drug cartels are actually the ones in charge of the government.

There is big demand for drugs in America.

Peace through superior firepower.

The cartels started it, not Trump.

I hope Trump does come down on the cartels will full force, but I doubt it happens.

The reason the Mexican government is worried, is because they're all in bed with the cartels and that includes Shinebaum. Nobody gets elected president of Mexico without being hooked up with the cartels. So, it's good that the Mexican government is worried.

Something needs to be done about fentanyl, too many children are dying.

If strikes help prevent the importation have at it Trump

Yes. Some in another thread were citing '50,000 dead in Viet Nam' as a talking point, while none of them sees the some 76.000 dead just last year or so from Red China's fentanyl and its partners the Mexican cartels have inflicted as a 'problem'.

I read a fentanyl death occurs like every 10 minutes in the US. I don't know if it's true but if it is something has to be done

It has certainly motivated Sheinbaum to move her ass. The question is now how corrupt her Federales are.

Yes, and whether Mexico likes it or not isn't a concern. As I said, they have no control over a third of their own country.
