How about we take them all in to the USA as refugees escaping torture in their homeland? The women and the loyal interpreters?

That way we wouldn't have to separate our soldiers from their wives and from seeing their children growing up because we keep sending them over to Afghanistan?

My dental hygienist's husband is in the National guard and has done 3 tours in Afghanistan, he hardly knows his little daughter.... The last time I saw her, she was pregnant, with their second child and she and he both were worried because his regiment was given warning they were preparing for a fourth tour.... She said, it was a very hard decision but her husband was seriously considering resigning before being deployed there AGAIN, especially with his second child on the way.... He didn't want to miss out on her growing up too....but he also loved being in the National guard....

So called "Women's" organizations have a very narrow view of women's rights. It's OK for a 10 year old to be forced to be a sex slave but don't you dare cop a feel!

Do you approve of either of these violations? This is not an either/or situation. Forcing anyone, especially a child into sex slavery is a true horror. But assaulting a person is in no way acceptable. Your reference to daring to "cop a feel" conveys the idea that you do not respect other people and find nothing wrong with attacking them physically. Do you? Most of us were taught not to touch people, particularly their private parts, without their consent, but you seem to think that this is some sort of sport.

It's pretty low to try and use the plight of 18 million people of all ages, who are unarmed and in imminent danger and whom one has never given a damn about previously, to further a political agenda.

Before we start ridiculing the treatment of women in Afghanistan remember that here is the good old U.S of A a 40 year old man can still legally marry a 13 or 14 year old girl. Mostly in red states by the way.

New Hampshire: 14 for males, 13 for females.
Massachusetts: 14 for males, 12 for females.
