Gold and copper and brass plates bound with rings and placed in wooden boxes? How did Joseph Smith know? He didn’t. Yet, in 1829, Joseph was ridiculed for the Book of Mormon. Worth listening to.

I haven't actually seen this particular video yet but, I am of the belief that Latter day Saints have been set up to play a role like the "Rechabites" of the time of the Prophet Jeremiah.

Because Latter day Saints do not laugh at modern near death experience accounts you have an edge over every other large church when it comes to some extremely critical subjects. Here is one important example:

New information on "Old Earth Creationism" and on "Theistic Evolutionary Theory?"

I did play it ... it was interesting.....
I guess I owe you an explanation as to why I really don't want to study the Book of Mormon and perhaps decide to be baptized as a Latter day Saint?

My all time record for getting excommunicated, disfellowshipped, ostracized, shunned or kicked out of church is TWO in not much more than one month back in 1991. The Worldwide Church of God and an offshoot The Philadelphia Church of God led by Pastor General Gerald Flurry.

If I ever were to become a full fledged member of the Latter day Saints my obsessive research of near death experience accounts might lead the local Bishop and his advisors to the conclusion that they have no choice but to disfellowship me...... but If I never become a member....... then they do not have to and probably within a month or two I will likely visit the local LDS Ward again and have another discussion with two Elders........

but I only do this some... because I feel that I am supposed to study Judaism..... not Mormonism!

A precedent for this is that the Prophet Jeremiah often fellowshipped with "Rechabites" but he did not fully join their community and adopt all of their customs.

At the following link I would be honoured if you would notice the following one sentence:

" My suggestion for the perfect location to promote this general idea in a big way is Brigham Young University in JERUSALEM!"

Instead of fighting against Trump you could?
