That's a bit of a stretch. Here's the problem any prosecution of Trump had. They tried to impeach him and it failed. Trump could validly argue that he was cleared of insurrection charges by the Senate. The voters simply didn't care that Trump was convicted of felonies or indicted.

Voters know the felonies are LAWFARE, by Soros DAs, who ran on "getting Trump".
