This is being covered as a news story by the same people who decide who will host American TV coverage in the first place. In other words, the "glass ceiling" that is blamed on our society is a creation of the same people who decry its existence and blame it on others.
Most of the people I know couldn't care less about the gender or race of TV hosts. This is especially true of white male sports fans, who are routinely smeared as misogynistic racists. How much longer are we going to put up with this crap?
